Well... I don't know. I certainly want to think it is. And for all we're used to here, learning that these random events would be the work of child gods really isn't that unbelievable.

Well, I guess it also depends on what they mean by despair. Something really bad or something pushing you to the end of your rope, as they say? But as for the latter, from what I hear of several worlds, it doesn't seem that far-fetched...
