Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Me Away...
That's how I feel about law school, except the opposite.

The only good thing about law school are the student groups I'm part of. Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and the our student chapter National Lawyer's Guild. The former puts on the oldest animal conference in the nation (13 years) and brings cool speakers to school. A girl in the group also makes the best homemade vegan treats and is veru generous with them. The latter does counter-military recruiting at high schools around Portland and maintains a GI Rights Hotline, which basically fields calls from people in the Army who want to get out and need legal info about that. I haven't actually done that yet but am being trained tomorrow, it sounds pretty cool and heavy.
Adam and I drove to the coast a few weekends ago and saw the Goonies House. The whole movie (except the really cool ship in the cavern part) was filmed in Astoria, OR or around there. It was a real bitch to find and when we finally did it wasn't that cool honestly. There used to be a sign welcoming Goonies fans to the house and to take pictures on the porch. That has since been removed after somebidy stole some lawn decorations or something...We did eat some blueberries in front of the house though.
R.I.P. Cally. I hope she was pretty old. That happened to my cat Egypt too, she just stopped eating and became a sack of bones. I think she died naturally though before my parents took her to the vet to be "put down."
