so.....what has been happening....
festival was alright - it was really nice to get out of the city and away from civilisation for 4 days. i think overall i spend a whole day just sitting in a chair lookign at a hill in the rain but i think that was just what i needed after an action packed holiday and crazy work. the new site is great and green with lots of walks you can do around and i certainly took advantage of those.
v-festival was ok as well. overall entirly forgetable. the presets were awesome as always. and the biggest surprise of the day were Duran Duran - they were fanastic! the event itself was the best organised event i have been to - free water and sunscreen, A LOT of manned toilets, which meant they were clean ALL day; incredibly disbility friendly; bar queues which took about a minute and lots of medics and security, who were visible but not in your face.
that day/evening/night/morning was spent exactly how i imagined - sitting around talkign lots of crap with friends. it was awesome! i have not slept at all on sat night but i actually feel refreshed after the weekend!
this weekend will be the prep for the birthday/cocktail party.
