International Womens' Day
For those of you who may not know this Saturday. 8 March, is International Women's Day.
There is a lot which needs to be said about this day but most importantly it's a day to remember all that has been achieved by the Women's Movement, be it organised or through the tireless work of individuals who belived in equality and were wiling to do something about it, and how their work has brought more equality to our position is society today.
But also to think about the fact that there are still barrier, be it the glass ceilling, pay inequity, slavery or povery, which need to be broken through and they will be through the work of the strong and confident women of today.
