Junsu was an anomaly, a mathematical impossibility. Changmin was used to formulas and theories, not something as abstract as Junsu, who was fleeting and elusive and never stayed still long enough for Changmin to define him.
He felt like he was grasping at straws, always missing when he came close to understanding. Junsu was like a puzzle, a plane of mismatched pieces that Changmin couldn’t put together. The final picture wasn’t there, unpredictable, and the pieces didn’t seem to fit anywhere he wanted them to. He craved for understanding and, at the same time, delighted in the mystery.
Junsu was like no other, but Changmin was particularly good at solving puzzles. It was only a matter of time, patience, and dedication before Changmin unraveled the mystery and saw the final picture.
