Summary: Jonghyun was shattered glass, sand in between his fingers.
Minho liked his stolen moments, behind the curtain or in the closet or in the alcove between the clothing rack and the hat stand no one ever used. Jonghyun seemed more real then, his face pulled up in a frown and his eyes dull.
He hated it when Jonghyun smiled. It was fake and broken, and Minho much preferred the tight-lipped frown that Jonghyun really wore.
Jonghyun never breathed confessions of love, but Minho didn’t want them anyways. Saying them made it less real, he thought, because no one ever meant it when they said it.
Jonghyun was shattered glass, sand in between his fingers, fleeting like his fractured smiles and promises. But Minho rather liked broken things, if only to admire the cracks and holes before crushing them in his fingers.
