On learning as the ultimate in communication and independence.
Madame Harb taught me the grammar and the rules of the subjunctive but somewhere along the way, I learned how it feels to look at an incomplete sentence and KNOW that the missing verb should be subjunctive.
You can be shown the basics, the definitions, and examples, but you will only know as much knowledge as you put into the experience.
I feel the ultimate independence and achievement when I am awakened to a concept because I know that I learned it on my own.
