So, um, Kuroshitsuji 2x07.

ANYWAY, onto more important things! Today is 8/13! I don't have a fic ready! So give me some Axel/Roxas prompts, f-list. I'll probably do eight drabbles.

(this is actually 900 words of semi-au Axel-stalking-Roxas-in-Twilight-Town instead of a drabble. whoops.)

"I'm boned," Roxas says pitifully, picking at Hayner's cheese fries.

"It's your own fault, you know," Olette chastises, while Hayner bats at his hand and says, "Dude, lay off."

"You did at least some of it, didn't you?" Pence asks with a skeptical glance up from his book.

"Well," Roxas begins, then falters guiltily. Olette sighs and shakes her head. "Don't give me that look! You're my friends, feel sorry for me."

"Roxas, at any point yesterday did you turn to us and say, 'gee, I have so much summer homework left to do, will one of you help me?'"

"…no."

"Then I have absolutely no pity for you," she says, sticking her tongue. "I'm helping my mom run errands tonight, so I can't help you," she adds, nearly sympathetic.

"Thanks for the lecture, at least," he mutters; Olette shrugs. "What about you, Pence?"

"I am taking a vacation to the magical world of videogames," he deadpans. "See, when people don't procrastinate, they get to have fun the week before school starts." Roxas scowls.

"You are a terrible person."

"I'm not going to feel bad for you."

"Right up there with serial killers and people who kick puppies."

"Still not happening."

"That's not what your mom said last night."

Pence closes his book and looks at him. "You're seriously the saddest person in the room right now. Congratulations, Hayner, you're moving up in the world."

"I would resent that, but I'm chewing," Hayner says around a mouthful of grease and fake cheese. Olette punches him once for good measure. ("Manners," she says by way of explanation.)

"So, Hayner, you got any plans other than making Olette nauseous with your table manners?"

Hayner snorts. "I haven't even done mine yet. Plus, we're not at a table. It doesn't count."

"Figures," Roxas groans, burying his face in his hands. "You guys are useless."

Pence shrugs good-naturedly. "Sorry, man."

"You'll get it done," Olette assures him. "I've got to go. Don't get all panick-y and self-destructive?"

"I'll try," Roxas says dryly. She rolls her eyes and hops off the ledge they've been sitting on, Pence and Hayner trailing after her.

"Bye!" Hayner calls. Pence waves, saying, "Don't stay out too late! Those evil puppy-kickers like to hang around after dark."

Then they all freeze, skipping once like an old cassette tape. The man in black leans against the wall opposite him, arms crossed over his chest.

"You again," Roxas says, half-scared but mostly pissed.

He throws up a hand. yeah, me.

"Look, I know you're the one who makes all this weird shit happen, but if you're not going to do anything other than stalk me and - smirk at me all day, it'd be just peachy if you'd stop screwing with my life."

The man seems to take offense at the word 'smirk' but otherwise remains unchanged. "Still playing this game? That's fine."

"There's no game," Roxas almost yells.

"Yeah?" He cocks his head. "Then what's my name, Thirteen?"

"Axel," Roxas says immediately. His brow furrows. "No. I don't know."

"We'll see," Axel says and smiles. Roxas blinks and he's gone. Hayner and Pence and Olette continue walking away, laughing softly in the distance.
