First off- so much love for writing Conrad/Toni/Veser, with Toni/Veser (or the other way around), Toni/Conrad and Veser/Conrad elements! There were so many points in this story that I just had to stop and pause for a moment because I wanted to make it last longer. ♥
And secondly - thank you for writing it this way. I am all about the stories that take the time and the effort to do build-up properly, that bring the characters to a time and place where what they do becomes natural, and this is definitely one of them. I feel incredibly spoiled to have been able to have fic like this in the Hanna!fandom. ♥
Most of all - I love the way that you wrote this with Conrad being the one to decide where to take it. I love the way that I got the sense of where Toni and Veser wanted to take things, and the fact that in the end, Conrad makes the choice to go there. And I definitely don't see enough fic like that, so go you for writing it! ♥
I have so many favourite lines in this story that if I picked them all out I think you'd probably have a way-too-long review, but these are way up there among my favourites:
"Hey," Veser drawls with a wink, "if that's what you're into, I got a whole mouthful." and
Veser sees what he's caught and smirks. "Figured you'd be the pervert," he quips, and he sinks back under the water before he lets go of Conrad's arm.
Oh, Veser. Why do you have to be so priceless. I am all over the way you write Veser: brash and forward and bratty and... somehow still (sort of) doing the right thing.
And I loved the entire scene with this:
Veser's hips are a breath away from his and-this is not supposed to happen. He's not supposed to want it to.
Veser grins, an inch from Conrad's ear. "You so are."
I loved how incredibly forward Veser was, and yet how he didn't push Conrad into taking things where Conrad wasn't comfortable with having them. ...I'm not sure if I'm reading this right, but that's how I read it, and I really liked that you took that approach.
"In case you were wondering," Veser says gleefully, low and manic, "the proper etiquette when one catches his fucking sexy friends making out is to ask to join. Running away works, too, I guess."
THIS! I love Veser's take on audience participation.
Over the noise, he says, "So, are we gonna talk about-"
"Nope," comes the reply, more casual than Conrad was expecting.
...this amused me so much, I will have you know.
... And then I kind of broke the LJ's limit on the character count for comments, so the rest of it will have to take up a new comment. Eep.

"Knew you'd come around," he smirks against Conrad's neck. Conrad, surprising himself, leans back into the touch.
As I said up there: I loved the way you handled this most of all, because you had Conrad decide where he wanted to take it.
"It's okay if you're freaked," Toni murmurs, suddenly close to him, and Conrad stiffens, feeling the press of her knees against the backs of his. He keeps the covers tight around his head, his eyes squeezed shut. "I mean, it is really, really weird, but. We all kind of were already, you know?" He does know.
And this is what I meant by taking the characters to a place where what happens, happens naturally. ♥ I loved that logic / substantiation with 'I know this is weird, but we're all kind of weird already.' *grin* Very apt.
And Toni! ♥ Toni Toni Toni - she is so warm and wonderful and absolutely the kind of person that Conrad should have in his life. I love how she's so comfortable with who and what she is, and how that makes her easy to be around. I loved how comfortable she was with Conrad - and that's really lovely since Conrad's a person who's completely uncomfortable with himself and what he's become and with other people, too: and it's good for him to have people like that around him.
I loved the whole Conrad-Toni-Veser interaction: I loved the whole house invasion business (poor Conrad) - I loved the way they were with each other: watching horrible vampire movies, studying, just being. I loved all the lovely little details you put in here: from the sweet, like Conrad being part of Toni's art project; to the realistic: Toni and Veser studying! ♥, and the delightfully domestic: Conrad stocking up for them, awww. And I kind of love how Toni and Veser kind of drive Conrad a little bit crazy (and sometimes more than a little bit crazy).
And! I loved Worth's appearance!
"It just so happens that your number one client fucked up my social standing in the supernatural community," he finishes with a glare.
"You'd have done it yourself, eventually," Worth shrugs.
Oh Worth. You are priceless too.
"I'm going to guess that you aren't famous for your bedside manner," Conrad remarks dryly.
"Why work hard beside the bed when you do just fine in it," Worth jeers.
*SMIRK*
"It tastes like people," he whines.
THIS AMUSED ME SO MUCH.
I loved that little nod to Hanna and Zombie being married. ;) AAAND:
"If they're married," Conrad wonders, after a pause, "what does that make us?"
"No," Veser says bluntly. "No. Do not even fucking go there, or I will punch you in the face, for real."
Oh, Veser. Despite the whole being-part-of-a-supernatural-threesome business, you are still such a teenage boy.
Also I just wanted to say that when I first read this fic I thought in lieu of having a life was the title of the story. *grin* Would've been appropriate too, I think. ;)
I wish I was fifty people, so I could give you that many comments to tell you have much I loved it! I love the story the way it is (though I would be all over a continuation, I don't think it needs one, in that I think I am very happy with the resolution), and I would love to see more from you.

Originally this was just going to be a PWP ficmix with some sexy songs about vampires and werewolves, but my brain decided that there had to be logic and backstory and then there ended up being no actual porn. So, yeah, my writing process likes to take my intentions and tell me where to shove 'em.
VESER ♥ He's a lech and a brat and I irrationally love him to pieces. Like, I think he and I both have come to terms with the fact that he'll never be a nice guy, but that doesn't mean he has to be a horrible person. Not completely horrible, anyway. I'm glad you think I did him justice ♥

Fandom needs more Toni, stat. When I first saw Toni I kind of thought she'd be a like a female Hanna, like, she probably thinks in capslock about everything, but in retrospect I don't think that at all. She's so at home with herself that it puts everyone else at ease. Like in this scene, I think her being comfortable with herself is enough to make her comfortable with everyone, and she kind of brings that out in other people. (Oy, I am in need of more canon!Toni to back up my fannish theories)
Domestic!fic is my favorite kind of fic! Despite the outrageous amounts of crack you may find here XD
I was determined not to add any gratuitous snark in this and. Dammit, Worth. but he can't help it that conrad is a total pussy, then again
