At nights I lie awake and question the folly that is my life. The darkness holds no answers for me any more than the light does. My words are spent. I'm empty, hollow. So let me smile, and show me how beautiful the world can be, if only for a few moments of the day. I remember laughter. I only wish it lived longer.
