This week has been.... don't know... it's strange, a week seems like a lifetime, but it feels oddly like home at Rivendell. The end-of-year concert was on Wednesday, and Kate was there, she is the most lovely person ever! She let me steal her clothes for the night, and then she had a rather amusing arguement with my "massive" boobs (which, I maintain, are not massive). Kelly-Ann went home sick, poor thing, but she would have hated the number of people there, anyway.There was such a sense of support in the air, everybody was nervous but everybody wanted to support everybody else. Kate gave me a card, which said I have changed her life, I stuck it up on my wall, that's huge, but I guess everyone has an impact on other people's lives and change them in some way. My parents and Shannon (who just had come out of surgery for her shoulder that morning) came, it was kind of overwhelming, because I don't think I've ever been in a situation, quite like that. I came to the conclusion in the middle of Ben's Hallelujah, that I never felt more like I belonged than I did right then. After our party(which included, student-made rock lea road and soft drink) Belinda made me Chai tea, and sat with me in the office, because there was too many people in the common room. "Feeling a bit sad tonight, Georgia?" I nodded, I was going to lie , but it was obvious, I was feeling shit. "Talk to me" Belinda always says that, I burst into tears, stupid thing stuck in my brain again, drug me up, baby, they gave me my PRN[, give as needed] meds. Yesterday I got up at 8.03, went down stairs, got Belinda to put a plastic bag over my bandage, " Who got the Micropore?" Grunt. "Too early" I signed, Belinda laughed, Rebecca walked past "Hello Georgia", My head flopped down, "it's too early" Belinda repeated. "Remember, we are leaving at 8.30". After my shower, Belinda came up to cut off the bag and put my shoes on, we talked about next year, she said "we will be stoked to have you". We went down stairs again, Rebecca was panicking, because Anthonio had took the car, and she was scurrying about trying to find another one, Lily (a student nurse) made me tea, we had to wait for Hand over (or the big meeting they have sometimes) to finish because my hair ties were in the office and then Rebecca witnessed the silly conversation
