This is the reason I ask. They seemed to invest quite a lot into development of her as a character; I felt sure she was going to become a member of Angel's team. Then she just . . . fades away. And I thought they were supposed to . . . not.
I think Faith was actually supposed to be a bit older than Buffy
Huh. I assumed she was younger because she got called later. Also, she looked younger and acted younger, despite her worldly bravado.
I do think it's funny that Angel had lots of sex with her
I think the whole purpose of this was a plot device to set up cheap jokes later on. As much as I enjoyed S5, there seemed to be several instances of this--also of making cheap jokes of things that I didn't think should be cheapened.
Er, did you see my Smallville post? Is it worth it? James is good. Lex is cool. The show provided me with unintentional comedy. I'm happy.
I did read your post. I didn't know whether to barf or laugh. I've watched exactly one ep of SV. Since then, I've had hours of entertainment reenacting a particularly bad moment of atrocious acting by the fellow who plays Clark Kent. But the thought of enduring more makes me lean toward the barf and not the laugh side. THough I though Lex was great, too.
It also stars Bradley Cooper of "Alias,"
He played the character Will Tippin, right? He was fabulous.
Thanks for the run-down on these two shows. I'm too lazy to watch or research them myself, but have been wanting to know the skinny on them for some time. I've watched "Arrested Development" on DVD. I'm disappointed to learn it's doing badly; maybe I'll tune in once KC comes back and make a night of it.
