I. What do Eve and Lindsey think to gain by putting the slug thing on Angel in "Soul Purpose"?
Defeat of the Senior Partners and bringing Lindsey back from the dead? Oh, wait, that's my fic...

K. Does the idea of the S8 BtVS comics make anyone else sad?
Yes, because for me, a comic book can never, ever have the emotional impact that a TV series or movie can have, or a novel, or even fanfic. I've cried watching TV and movies. I've cried reading novels and fanfic. I've never cried reading a comic book.

M. Can you name all the episodes of AtS and BtVS? If you can't, can you at least recognize all the episode names?
Not all, but probably about half of them. I can name every episode of AtS Season 5. I wonder why that is... *g*

P. Do you like Oprah?
I like the fact that she's a philanthropist and helps out worthy causes. She does good things with her money, and that's admirable. I loathe her as an interviewer. Every single interview she ever does ends up being about herself.

Q. How often do you read fanfiction somewhere that is not ( ... )

I had half of a reply written to you before I got so caught up, but I don't know where it went. I'll get back to you on other things later, but I suddenly remembered this, and felt you shouldn't waste another moment:

I don't use a client. I hand-code everything in the "update LJ" window, which is a big pain in the ass. I've recently thought about downloading a client, after my last marathon fic. Which one would you recommend?

Get Semagic. Really really get Semagic. I thought a client would be a hassle, like the real text editor thing in the post window, but it's not at all like that. I guess part of the reason I love Semagic so much is I sometimes do posts with lotsa links, which gets so tiresome by hand. But even if you don't do lots of links, it's just nice to have for posting fics. I can't rec it highly enough.

oh yeah and since it's there staring at me:

I don't know, but I would pay money to read a convincing Spike/Angel forced marriage fic. :D

Me too. Hop to it, woman.

Maybe that's it. It's not really the medium most conducive to depth, I guess.

I like the fact that she's a philanthropist and helps out worthy causes. She does good things with her money, and that's admirable. I loathe her as an interviewer. Every single interview she ever does ends up being about herself.

I like the former traits, too. As for the latter--I've seen very few of her interviews, as I can't watch her show. Everyone on there is always screaming in joy or crying in anguish, and I have to change the channel.

Never at work. When I visit the homestead, I read fic on my parents' computer. I think they'd both die of heart attacks if they ever saw the amount of buttsex in the stuff I read. And write. My mother has issues with Teh Gay. It makes me angry. And sad for her.My parents don't seem to have issues with homosexuality in rl, but when it comes to fantasy life, my mom seems freaked ( ... )

My dad, however, is totally convinced A/S fucked on the desk.

Hahahahahaha! I think I love your dad.

My parents don't seem to have issues with homosexuality in rl, but when it comes to fantasy life, my mom seems freaked by the idea that I find two men together sexy.

Mine, too! My mother completely supports gay marriage, and gay couples who want to adopt children. Yet she gets freaked out when she sees gay couples kissing on the news, and she couldn't understand why I wanted to see Brokeback Mountain. She doesn't seem to have a problem with gay sex happening, she just gets squicked when she sees it. At first I thought, "Well, maybe she thinks that kind of stuff is private." Yet she has no problem watching soap operas or reading reams of romance novels. Weird, huh?
