I pick and choose which questions I feel like answering!

All the RPS vids I've seen were made by the same girl. AND THEY ARE AWESOME. Two are Jared/Jensen and the other is this brilliant, over-the-top thing from the point of view of Chad Michael Murray about having lost his Jared to Jensen. Oh, and on You Tube there are a million vids focused on a single actor, using clips from all his/her movies and shows to concentrate the hotness. Though I have seen some slightly more focused or comical ones.

I haven't seen a lot of straight up Mary Sue RPF, notably one on FF.net about JM though, and another Jared/OFC one in the second person. Woah. I have seen other actor/OFC fic that was really not what I'd call Mary Sue fic though.

I frequently see people being more organized than me and having similar flaily moments as you.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the S8 comic. Curious, I think.

I went through a phase of printing out fic and reading it on the bus and stuff sometimes. Haven't done that in awhile. Probably will again.

Um, when I'm reading other people's fic and I see typos, I usually do yes, or sometimes if it's just one or two I'll tell them after my FB. But if I'm trying to do serious structural editing of many, many sentences that is when I am not reading that fic anymore.

The majority of FB tends to come within in 3-4 days I think, except if someone recs you somewhere prominent after that. It's an interesting phenomenon, how people don't tend to FB when they read something after the fact. I have hit counters on some of my fics and some of them get read almost every day and are rarely FB-ed. And maybe they just don't like it but then, um, why would you read through to the end of a longer story. Maybe other people aren't as back button friendly as I am.

I code my stories in Word. Any editing done later is because I was obsessively rereading right after posting and noticing wee things.

Sometimes I think about the A/N while I'm writing but with shorter stories usually, no. The whole header is an advertisement for you fic, basically. So the challenge is to try and make clear-ish what people might be getting if they read it.

Periodically, I get a "thing" for a fandom/pairing that is innocent and wanting and all the fic isn't above a PG13 rating. I *need* for their to be porn, and there is none. Sometimes (i.e. Joan of Arcadia) I write it myself and then wander off. Othertimes I continue to be annoyed. Currently it's Rory/Dean. Don't mock! I have a sideline thing for sweet, "nice" people doing really dirty things in a schmoopy way. Why do people act like if you're like that you aren't also lustful?

hahaha thanks for not editing. Because you can't edit. And I would've gotten the notification for the original comment anyway. Oh, lj.

But I love your insomniac homework girlness. You make me happy, when I see your name.

RPVid --The reason I ask is that I have one in my head for VK and wanted to know whether that made me a freak. Guess not.

I went through a phase of printing out fic and reading it on the bus and stuff sometimes. Haven't done that in awhile. Probably will again.

I...brought my laptop on the bus once to read Luke Skywalker fic. I am a woman of strange tastes.

It's an interesting phenomenon, how people don't tend to FB when they read something after the fact.

The only times when I understand this is when the story is on an archive and there's not an easy way to hit, "reply". But if the fic is a few months old on lj, I frankly don't get it.

So the challenge is to try and make clear-ish what people might be getting if they read it.

Yeah. My problem is I have a tendency to want to make mine say, "Uh. Don't read this. You won't like this." For that B/A epic thingy I'm writing, the A/N in my head is, "If you're not really into B/Aer, you won't like this. And if you're really into B/A... you won't like this either." I guess 'cause it's a shipper fic in which Angel fucks everyone and their mom in the middle. How does this happen?

I write it myself and then wander off.

My problem is I *start* to write it and then lose interest, and then later when I come back to it there still isn't any porn in that fandom. My life is hard, yo.

Rory/Dean. Don't mock! I have a sideline thing for sweet, "nice" people doing really dirty things in a schmoopy way. Why do people act like if you're like that you aren't also lustful?

I like Rory/Dean. I think I kinda shipped Rory/Jess when I watched that show but it was because I was so into Luke/Lorelai and I liked the parallels. Anyway, I hate that, too. Sweet n' nice people can be raunchy, too!

Well, sometimes that happens in life too, you know. Does Buffy fuck other people too?

I kinda shipped Rory/Jess for a bit there too, but god he began to drive me crazy. But also, I started watching the show during mid to late S2 so I hadn't seen the heyday of Rory/Dean. Of course, I am now hopelessly Padalecki-biased. I did like when Jess came back last season though.

Poor Dean, he really got the shaft with how they wrote him off the show. I mean, extratextually I know they did that so Jared could go on SPN (yay!) but as storyline it was kinda bleh. Especially the whole "no, Rory and Lorelei must both end up with blue bloods" thing. And I like Christopher. And I don't mind Logan. But in my head, Dean builds a house *dies from visual* and Rory moves back to Star's Hollow and writes novels and they have a lot of crazy sex and he builds her a desk. Um, hmmmmmm.
