Apparently, it didn't get eaten!

I really liked your Spike-voice in this story. This is *so* the way he would describe Buffy and Angel.

Thanks. That means a lot, coming from you.

This is interesting, because the whole time I was reading this fic, I kept thinking, "This might work better if it were written in the first person." But then I got to this part, and I went, "Ohhh. NOW I see why she chose third person for this fic." It's a bit meta, but it kind of works.

I chose third person 'cause I'm a chicken. I was talking with Kita about writing this piece (she saw none of it so I can't blame a single bit of it on her) and talking about how the first person was so icky and hard to write, and she suggested about making it a close third. At first I blew it off 'cause I thought there was *no* way to make that work in a piece like this. I'm still don't really think it did. Sure those bits of meta I tossed in are interesting and do say something rather insightful, but they're not enough to make the POV really hold. I wanted to play around with it a lot and try it both ways, but I just didn't give myself time. I'm sorry, I'm whining. This fic gives me hives.

Thanks for your fb. I can't wait to see your piece tomorrow.

I wouldn't get too excited about my fic. It's much more Angel than it is Buffy/Angel. Apparently I can read about them together, but I cannot write about them together. :S

I'm excited anyway. That Angel guy, he's alright.

(Such a relief to be able to say that after calling him a wankering ponce for 10000 words straight.)
