Can we do that thing where you give me a subject and I list TOP 5? Please? Because I'm bored, and needs should definitely be met. As long as it doesn't require ointments the next day.
You gave blood! Excellent. (I'm usually too anemic.)
And I still have to respond to your mail, which I will do tomorrow, but short response regarding the Bar Mitzvah.
The actual affair is June 10 but since Zack-a-doo finally decided where his wants his party held, I have to make catering arrangements, party decorations, hire a DJ, find a hotel, etc. etc. So, I'm doing some running around over the next few days.
Which is why I'm not working on your story, either. Hee. (But, send the new one. No prob.)
If I give blood more than 4 times in a year, I can write a personal note to someone who recieves my blood. So, I was thinking of what I would write, and lit upon a fabulous notion: I could just send them a copy of that fic I wrote "Blood Types," and my recipient would be so thrilled.
Ooh! Sounds like a lot of work, but it must also be so exciting.
I thought it would be because of the significance of the event. But now that I think about it again, it just sounds like work. It won't be exciting until it really happens, I guess. Even then I bet it'll be stressful. Hey, I was trying to be positive!
Hey! I already knew mine, or I wouldn't have asked. -herons -egrets (both herons and egrets frequent our neighborhood byous. And I will always associate egrets with my one of my favorite books from when I was 13 or so, because there were egrets on the cover.) -seagulls (okay, they're annoying. But 1. my grandfather loves to feed them his chubs, and I have such lovely memories of him feeding them and my granny and him discussing their bullying ways, 2. the book Johnathan Livingston Seagull. I have a seagull necklace, even. I just like 'em.) -sandpipers. They're very common around here, and they run really really fast instead of flying. -sparrows. (I love the ones that appear in the book A Little Princess--all my favorite birds have to do with books, it seems--and they're really fun to make metaphors out of

That bunny looks like an assasin bunny to me. Peaceful, my ass.
I love those five eps also. I don't normally list Joss' gimmic eps as a fav even though I think they're brilliant, because I want to go with what the show normally did.
One of the things I like about Whedon is he does gimmick eps so well. Other shows have 'specials' and they're almost always lame. BtVS's weren't.
I have a friend who I'm trying to convince to watch BtVS and AtS. She says she watched one ep of BtVS and it scared her silly, so she never watched again. I said that was strange, because only one ep of BtVS ever really scared me. She said it was the ep where everything was silent and those creepy guys ripped out your heart. Figures!

Still, Hush is the only ep that scared me.
