(no subject)
Sunday: Today was probably one of the coolest days ever. Me, Kelly, and Caitlin were asked to play in a show at this thing called the G Connection by Mockingbird. It was like a music arts show. Anyway, we had to be there at 12:00 for our sound check (SOUNDS SO PROFESSIONAL HUH) and where we had to play was outside and it was like 100 million degrees out, and we were on at 2:00 so we just hung around inside and almost broke all of the art and just ...I don't know ahaha were stupid. So then we watched some little kids play piano and then we heard this really good band through the wall and we were like OH CRAP THEY MAKE US LOOK BAD but then we got out there and they were like 50...so it was all good. We got cheered a lot and stuff after we did play, and we got filmed by my cousin and pictures taken and stuff. We played Basket Case, When I Come Around, the song we wrote, and finally American Idiot.Everyone said they like our original better than Green Day and I agree with them too. This crazy but really cool English guy with the thickest accent ever came up to us after and told us that we did a really good job...actually he said "YOU GUYS WERE BRILLIANT I FEEL TOTALLY UPSTAGED BY YOU!" and he was from the previous band. Then after we were done, we went back to my house and went swimming and ate a lot. It was so fun, and when you looked out at the people watching you and they were getting all into it and cheering and stuff it was the coolest feeling ever.
Monday+Tuesday: Nothing new and exciting happened...but what do you expect it's school. MY BIRTHDAY IS IN 9 DAYS AND TODAY WAS KIM'S BIRTHDAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM I LOVE YOU!!! Yeah..I feel like painting or something or writing so laterrrrr.
