Let the apartment search commence!
So after living with Virgil for one week I've decided that we can no longer live together and thusly I need to either move back with Cherice or find a new place.... So much for our relationship....
Sike.... Actually, maybe we needed this weekend to be on our own, sort out some differences, and learn how to truly make this thing work. I realize he wants this as much as I do and this shall be a good summer for us.
But, for real, the apartment search that is commencing is the one in NYC. Seems there are a lot of places where I would like to live. I think I may be joining Mia and Naomi in the Bronx, but, really, who knows. I saw this great advertisement on craigslist for a place right where I want to be for sooo cheap and it's only 2 bedrooms. I'm afraid. I mean, there must be rats and the plumbing must not be good. It just seems too good to be true. However, I could be wrong. I hope so. I hope this woman gets back to me and tells me that there has been no one who fits the profile she wants. I would love to see this place. I also saw some other places that look so good. I mean, I just don't know.... Honestly, it's all in the luck of the draw. But I think I have good housing karma cause the places I've lived so far have had excellent landlords, good rent, and great amenities, especially Cherice's place. I really couldn't ask for anything better than that. New appliances, washer and dryer in house, digital cable in all of our rooms, utils included, and DSL. Only complaint I had was my other roommate's man, which soon became the running joke of the house. Plus, I think Cherice is real cool. I believe we are friends except that one time I thought I heard her talkin about me when she thought I wasn't there. And I felt like she lied to me when I asked her about something that went down in the house. Sooo...I'm a bit suspicious but that's another story.
Anyways, I'm lookin for a new place. If ya'll have ideas of where I should look for these apartments/shares besides craigslist and Village Voice please let me know.
