As the night started her cheeks were white as ever,
the night followed with awkward moments that turned them red,
And by the time she fell asleep
black was flowing down her cheek,
like a river of misery, and sorry
of the confusion in her head.

She's getting out, though she has no clue
of where she's headed, but she knows where
she has been, far away from there she'll be.
It's a cloudy, night, and the rain falls hard,
she's going to get out now.
And run, she's going to run until she finds a
single star, it could be miles
it could take days,
Once, she gets there it will all be worth it
and the skies will clear, along with her thoughts,
Her eyes will have been dried out,
and under that star, all she's ever hoped for
will become reality,
because for once every question will be answered in her mind, for there stands him.
