I gotta say as much as I complain about working at the Gap it's not all bad. Yeah I can't stand the hours but at least I kind of have fun there. Except for starting to feel like I was coming down with sinus infection within the first 5 minutes of my shift yesterday, I love joking around with everyone, laughing at the customers when they leave, pretending I care about getting Gap Cards, etc. Closing is actually fun. If you get a good closing team, you get what you need to get done and joke around. Last night I closed until 11:30 but me and Erica spent 2 hours remincing about the Old Rat and other Binghamton nostalga items. Plus we got to laugh at Jordan talking about the Suffern High School prom he attended the night before (He's almost 21). I like using the walkie talkies to report stupid things going on around the store. Like annoying kids running around, weird customers, etc. Sometimes I'll be ringing out a customer and hear something ridiculous over the headset and just start cracking up. Today the managers were getting on us to smile more, particulary me. That was tough. I've trying unsuccessfully to give up caffeine first off, and secondly in conjuction with that withdrawl I had a major sinus headache. Long as everyone got their change and their gift receipts, I was fine. I was trying to free up my weekend by giving away my Saturday 2 to close shift, which is a highly undesireable one. Luckily Kim took it, all of it. She was the co-worker who took my Memorial shift also. She's awesome. I hope I end up doing something that day now. Even if I don't it'll be great.

Eek- It's late. I gotta open tomorrow at work. I think this will be a good week. Last week at the Gap for awhile, or never again. Looking forward to Long Beach next week. Dave will be back at the end of the week.

Speaking of why I don't hate the Gap... my free concert tickets! I won 2 free tickets to see the Counting Crows and Goo-Goo Dolls at Jones Beach August 4. They are awesome seats. Probably worth about a 100 dollars each. yay to the Gap.
