[there's a pause, then he glances over at her, taking her appearance in quickly and making some conclusion or other before asking, somewhat blandly.]

A few days, I think. [Kana gave him a side way glance. She stop giving out her last name. It seemed rather pointless at this point.]

A week or two. It's hard to keep track of time here. [he shrugs when she says she's not surprised. he isn't really either, but that's cause he's been avoiding bel.]

Wouldn't that make it easier to meet people? Since there's not as many people to meet?

but I agree knowing how many people are here, would be good. That way if anything happens, everyone will know it. [a small pause,] Well if you have been here for so long, do you know just what is going on?

Not really. There're monsters that come out at night, but you probably know that, and not much food. I've been staying in a shop nearby for the most part. That's about it.
