[mask back in place, Zoey has been wandering the streets, trying to keep a low profile and find a place to hide for the night. So far, she hasn't had much luck at all. and now that it's dark...]

Guess that means I'm outside for the night...

[Considering how many children he's seen around, Maes can't sleep comfortably at night, so he's roaming the city, trying to figure things out.]

Or you could always find somewhere to go inside.

[Aaaaand there she goes. So he's gonna follow. Because even though he has no idea who she is, she does not roar. ... at least he doesn't think she does.]

[He catches up with her and pulls her down a street in the opposite direction of where the roar came from. Meanwhile, keeping an eye and an ear out just in case.]

[she allows herself to be led by him, trying to keep up with his pace as much as she can. This is starting to get repetitive but running is all they can do, right? You can't possibly be able to hurt those things--unless you can. Maybe they're like a tank...]

He leads her down several allies and finally stops to catch his breath, while making sure to listen for any more roars, footsteps, or anything at all.]
