[What is Clare's first reaction? Absolutely nothing at all, since she hasn't gotten quite a good look at what's behind her. Although this is sort of awkward...]

[Actually, no, Clare is slowly losing her patience, So she makes the effort to move away, somewhere else, where no one's there. Oh, solitude.]

[That nudge of her feet wasn't intentional, really. She stops, pauses, and gives a half glance behind her. But instantly, Clare does a double take, because, boy, you look familiar.]

[Raki wakes up and scrambles to his feet, reaching automatically for his sword--

--and blinks at his awakener blearily.]

[It's been so long now that he barely even dares to hope his eyes aren't lying to him.]

[And that confirms it. It has been so long and Galk was right -- he has gotten taller and he's not the same scrawny little boy Clare remembers. So she just... stares. It takes a while for Clare to process, until-]

... Raki?

It IS you.

[Raki does some staring of his own, looking to see what's the same and what's changed since he saw her last.

And then he flies at her, dead-set on grabbing the Claymore up into a crushing hug because, HOLY CRAP, it's CLARE and he's MISSED HER SO MUCH and he never wants to let her go ever again.]

[And here she just literally takes it, going a bit stiff all at once holding her hands in a suspended position. Yes, this is Raki, just how she remembers him and the hug has left her a little stunned. She stands there for a few minutes, finally resting an uneasy hand on his shoulder. It's not too tight, really! It's too surreal seeing the little boy tower over her and the fact he's actually got strength for once. Poor Clare.]

[Raki doesn't even realise he's lifting her up and turning around until he nearly trips over his own feet and finally sets her back down. He still doesn't let her go, although at least now he's giving her room to breathe, and stands grinning brightly down into her face.]

CLARE!! I can't believe you're really here! How are you? What've you been up to? I'm so glad I found you again, finally!

[... Please tell her you're not spinning her, Raki, that is too bizarre. She goes up, and her arms are actually holding on -- he's caught her completely by surprise. If there's any sense of awkwardness, Clare, of course, is unaware of it. Although, here, have a... pat on the shoulder and Clare actually changing expressions -- a quizzical look at best. Finally, breaking the silence-]

[A faint little smile. It's there, you can see it. There's such an overwhelming sense of relief and pride for him now. She speaks so fondly and softly, even pats his cheek.]

They weren't kidding when they said you grew. I'm glad you made it... I knew you would.

[Still just beaming so, so happily.]

Huh? Who said what now? You been talking about me behind my back?

[Leave it to Raki, invading personal space. She's just going to gently step back, Raki.]

Of course not. I went through Rabona looking for you. When I spoke to Galk, he commented on how much you've grown. He's right.
