SHIT SON I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN A HELLA LONG TIME

Yeah, so... it's April. Oops.

New icons, aw yeah. They're from Were the World Mine, a pretty awesome film that headlined the Melbourne Queer Film Festival. It's... basically Bare. The popular, closeted jock, and the quiet gay boy who is in love with him. The senior play is Shakespeare. They can both sing, omg. The eccentric drama teacher brings them together~ It was sweet, though, and was a hell of a lot more feel-good that Bare by the end. As in, I wasn't sobbing from the depths of my soul when the lights came up. Some of it was pretty lulzy, I enjoyed the fact that the big musical numbers strongly represented 80's music videos. I lolled. Also, apparently Robin William's daughter was in it? I liked her voice, but it annoyed me that they pulled the whole 'IF WE ADD A SASSY ROCK CHICK SINGING A TOTALLY OUT-OF-PLACE SONG WITH HER BAND OUR MOVIE WILL BE TOTES BADASS AND APPEAL TO THE KIDZ' -___________- But yeah, I've been listening to the title song for like, two days straight.

Anyway, I'm back from the UK. Started my new school (I love it sfm)

It's pretty awes, ngl. And we get frees, which Girton doesn't, hehehe. Also, Tuesdays we go home an hour early, which, coupled with the two frees I have in the morning, means I have two classes, three periods, arrive late and leave early :D Enjoying pretty much all my classes. Except lit, lit can suck mah balls. And I love Auslan as a subject, but my class seriously sucks. No-one's motivated, everyone's a bogan, and everyone is rude as hell to our teacher (yes, that's right, he's deaf, so he obviously can't hear you, despite the fact he can talk himself, has a hearing aid, and has explained to you before that he's only partially deaf and CAN in fact hear you, dumbass) It started out as an immersion class, where no-one was supposed to use their voice, but everyone talks, which means we get like, nowhere in class. Seriously hoping most people give up the class by next year.

Theatre studies I love, but I'm seriously conflicted by the fact that no-one likes our teacher (my friend and I went into the computer lab to research something, and these girls who were in there were bitching about her very loudly) No-one in my class likes her either, BUT after Jen (aforementioned friend) and I kicked ass in our project about Greek theatre (we built an amphitheatre out of sugar cubes, it was awesome), we're like, teacher's pets :/ but, at the end of the day, I want to get good marks in this subject, so if a little ass-kissing is what it takes... No-one seems to hold it against us, which is good. Also my monologue is gonna be badass.

Drama, I also love, everyone is really close and lulzy.

History is ok, Gemma's in that class, so it's always awesome. Except for the fact our stalkers sit on our table (I'll explain) and our teacher keeps glaring at us in a way that we can never tell whether he's lulzing or srs :/ Like the other day, Gemma and I were the first in class.

Us: *talking quietly*
Greg: *enters*
Us: *acknowledge his presence*
Greg: *glare*
Us: ...0_0
Greg: *glare*
Us: 0_0
Greg: WHY DO YOU LOOK SO GUILTY
Us: ...D:?

IDK IT'S WEIRD. Also he doesn't like it when we talk in German apparently (Gemma and I had this conversation about the fact Greg probably dresses in leiderhosen and pretends to be a German exchange student for the lulz) I greeted him in German and he GLARED at me again.

Classics I enjoy, I'm not terribly productive. I don't have any friends in that class, as everyone is the year above me (I'm pretty sure I'm the only year 11 in the school taking year 12 Classics :/) and have their own friends, but it's ok. I enjoy being smart when no-one knows the answer to something that was drummed into me for two years at Girton :D

BUT YEAH OUR STALKERS. Ok, so I'm not a very nice person sometimes. I lack the tact and patience to politely extract someone from me who I'm not fond of, so I usually ignore them to get them to go away. YEAH I KNOW DON'T YOU WANNA BE FRIENDS WITH ME. Anyway, it was Jess first, who I hung out with one free, turned out to be in quite a few of my classes, and would not leave me alone. I mean, she's pretty damn boring. And a Twilight fan. Um, no thanks. So yeah, I was mega bitch for a few weeks and she finally left me alone. I've stopped being quite so horrible, and we get on quite well. As long as the conversation remains in class. Also there's Zac RAAAGE. Idk he was lulzy for a few days, but then he got annoying. Unfortunately Gemma still thought he was really funny >_< so he hung out with us ALL THE TIME. Cue Rosie cold-shoulder. Which meant Gemma got really pissed lol oops. So I tried being nicer to him. And now she's sick of him :D But now he keeps asking her out WHICH I KNEW IS WHAT WOULD HAPPEN.

Anyway, we're on holidays now hoorah. And we've been invited to a party yayyy I never get invited to parties.

school, musicals, social life, movies
