Who likes Sausage?

I make this all the time and its reasonably inexpensive. It's a good way to combine vegetables and meat together in a great dish you'll make again and again.

You need:

1 package of sausage. (Italian, Polish, Chicken, any kind really)
1 bunch of asparagus
1/2 red onion chopped
1 cup of white rice
some thyme

Make the rice as you normally would and make the sausage in the skillet. Break the sausage into pieces.

Once the sausage is done you can either wipe out the pan (and add 1/2 cup of water) or just use the leavings from the meat, then you want to add the onion and the asapragus and cover. After about 5 minutes or so, the asparagus should be crisp tender and you're all set. Mix the sausage, onion and asparagus with rice and you've got a quick and delicious meal!
