I tried the Tiburon off 90th S and 7th East tonight for the first time. I must say, it was delish, service was fantastic, and it was a fancy joint. Very pricy, though. We got the crab cakes for appetizer- came with 4 pieces. VERY delicious. Next they brought out a little glass with 2 types of sweet and sour sorbet. I believe this was "complimentary" with the meal, as we hadn't ordered it. They brought out a bread basket with some sort of fancy butter which I didn't try. Then, they brought out a salad with some sort of sweet dressing, various greens, candied pecans, and shredded white cheese. It was delish! Also "complimentary" with the meal, since we didn't order them. I ordered a steak which was cooked a tad too much (I ordered MR) but was nicely seasoned and had 2 yummy sauces on top. Came with green beans and some sort of very tasty stringy soft things which I guess might be onions. We skipped dessert. I did see a creme brulee at another table that looked tasty. Overall, pretty lovely but I would reserve for special occasions because of the cost.
