cheating gets it faster

I went to a show last night for my cousin's birthday. It was really a Green Day concert, and I hate them, but Jimmy Eat World was there so I couldn't pass up seeing them again :) (Psst, picture heavy)

We parked in the spot 666 totally by random. I found that really awesome.

Giants Stadium is big.

Against Me!:

The quality is so bad because I had to go on 12x digital zoom. Even though we were row 6, you wouldn't get good pictures anywhere cause it was round.

Jimmy Eat World:

These are from the screens.

I love this one.

They had lots of colored lights.

So, Jimmy Eat World played "Futures", "Work", "Pain", "A Praise Chorus", "The Middle", "Sweetness", "Blister", and "Get it Faster". That song selection is horrible. It's all Futures and Bleed American songs. They only played one from Clarity and Clarity is by far their best album. They didn't play one slow song and those are the best songs they play. Their playing was good, but the songs really let me down cause they weren't the ones I wanted to hear... When I saw them in December they were much better & had a longer set.

After I ran into Matt B! I didn't even know he was going. His little sister likes them so he went, too. I saw Matt W earlier because our section was 114 and he was 115, so we were close, but we all ran into each other.

(Matt W, Matt B, me) I am SO white, seriously. I was the only one in the whole entire stadium wearing a Jimmy Eat World shirt, I swear. I got a lot of funny looks, haha.

And then my camera died. Should have charged it before I left, oh well. I hate it that it's a battery pack and not AAs or something. Anyway I don't even like Green Day. So I'm not that upset. But I have to say, Green Day was the best band I've ever seen live. Their show was amazing, they had great little skits in between (like pulling a little kid up to squirt people with a water hose or pulling people up to play their instruments) and the songs were played better live than the recording. So I think I have to buy their CD or something, because they really were great. I was pleasantly surprised.

Okay enough procrastinating. Back to summer reading! :/
