Here's another story idea I've come up with for the series: After having scored the highest of his class on mandated assessment testeing and received straight As in every subject, except for a B+ in Physical Education, Mac finds himself in the most unlikely of situations for a boy his age....to get transferred to Andrew Jackson Senior High School.
"Great! I'm only eight years old, and I'm in high school. Either this is a bad dream or a sick joke."
But to Mac's disappointment, he finds that it's no dream, and he's looked down upon by the freshmen. So his social status hasn't changed: he has made absolutely no friends whatsoever in this new environment, but he managed to impress the instructors with his being able to read at a college level and hand in his assignments two days before their due dates while the rest of the student body were procrastinating on their work. It doesn't help that, again, he's getting straight As in every subject, which doesn't sit well with the other students, who are pretty much receiving Ds and Fs. It also has a dragged out scene where Mac takes a walk in the pouring rain while Dennis DeYoung's "Desert Moon" plays in the background. At one point, he brushes his wet hair back, stares at his old elementary school, and wonders if he would've been better off where he didn't feel awkward being the only 8-year-old in a den of teenagers.
I sort of envisioned this as one of the few stories in which Mac doesn't go to the Foster's mansion, or any of the other cast members appear.
