Canon: As the only survivor of a massacre at his school, Ganta Igarashi was arrested and charged with murder of his friends and classmates. Put through a trial that ended with a GUILTY sentence, he was sent to Deadman Wonderland, a prison for criminals on Death Row, where he must learn to survive in this strange and terrifying environment.
His first day at DW, Takami Yo bumps into Ganta; the accident leads to the two boys becoming friends. To most people (Ganta included), Yo's a kind and nice person, always with a gentle smile, open and friendly. However, Yo is actually a conniving lying bastard who does not hesitate to steal or use others to further his own means. His sister is the single most important person to him. In order to buy her freedom with cast points, DW's equivalent to money, he will do whatever it takes, including sentencing an ally to death. He is ruthless and violent, shown when he takes an ear as "interest" for cast points that another inmate borrowed from him and couldn't return on time.

I guess he could consider his debt paid off, heh. ...So zombies are common here. I wonder if there's anyone else I could use as bait. If all the other zombies I meet aren't really fresh though, that'd be a problem. I'm going to need to find some other people around here first, I guess.
