I'm right in the middle of rereading A Wrinkle In Time, and this book is affecting my sleep! Since we've moved to South Carolina, my St Mary school buddies have inundated my dreams... Especially the McCarthy triplets (? WEIRD). Last nite I dreamt I was back in StM and there was a band playing for us at lunch. When the band started playing I could tell they were taking over everyone's minds. I said my times table and made it through the performance brain unscathed. Then, they called all the girls up to the stage to perform a dance. We all had matching purses (?) and every girl except me and Danielle H (weird how I remember lol) ran up there and began a dance in perfect symmetry. Danielle and I tried to play along, but it was obvious we were still in control of ourselves. After the dance we all went back to the classroom. Danielle and I highfived and relayed how we stuck it out without succumbing to the brainwash. I don't remember how she did it, but she thought I was weird for the times tables. We sat down at our desks. I was in a small group, sitting only with Matt C (whose mom was our teacher.....?) and Ryan (at least one of the triplets come up almost every nite), and they quizzed me about why I was acting so rebelliously, blahblah. I mentioned I was never coming back to the school then begged them not to tell once I realized my mistake. Matt was asked to fill out paperwork on me and I knew he was notifying his momteacher in code form. Something about my broken calf muscle (??). Mrs C then comes over to try and get me to change out of my uniform and into this dress she gave me in a bag. I tell her 'these are the clothes I left in this morning, and these are the clothes my mom expects to pick me up in.' I decide to gtf out of this crazy place, but not before I get my things out of the lost&found. As I'm going through the L&F, I'm finding many of my own belongings and its taking me quite a long time. Mrs C comes at me, but I swing the box around and knock her out. Then I woke up.
