the week to date....
Wow last week's been kinda full on, bit of this, bit of that.
Monday started with a work and then a fucking great dinner at Dayna's, cooked entirely by her and Jaimie. Made my ex-favourite dish, butter chicken, but since then i'm going to stop eating chicken, as well as red meat. For my own, completely understandable reasons.
The rest of the week ws full no with trying to help organise the gig on Saturday, which i thought was a success and a hell of a lot of fun.We raised just under 2 grand fo St. Vinnies's! Of course there were shitty occurences and anxiety, but it is done now and it was a success for Need-Arts' first benefit.
Last night i ended up seeing Okkervil River which was so good, great atmosphere (apart from a couple of loud dickheads), lots of jumping around and sweat running down the back of my dress, to my bum.
I've gone some photos which i will add sometime soon.
Today at work, i managed to get a really deep laceration just above my eye with a metal fitting for a shelf used at kmart. My manager nearly fainted when she saw the blood, and i sooked for a bit out of complete shock. I was sent to a doctor, workers comp. paid the bill, yay, and he cleaned it up blah blah didnt have to get stitches woo woo.
>> then had bar training at the powerhouse, then watched the notebook, and read Wuthering Heights.
It is way too hot right now.
