on my mind

i spent all morning on the floor with my notebook comparing willa wonka and his (amazing) factory to fall out boy (and one of their songs).  i watched the movie tonight also.  i dont think anyone understands how much i love that movie.  not because its a movie and everyone has to have a favorite, or because johnny depp is in it, and not because its a remake of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory... (which it really isnt because the new one has a different title and its based off the book, but anyway) i love it because charlie is the way every kid should be, but no one is.  willy wonka, knows exactly what hes doing, but he comes off as not too bright, shy, confused, and absent minded. however his intelligence and all the real things he knows shines through at anonymous moments.  everyone speaks to and questions him like hes crazy and like he doesnt know what hes doing when in reality hes already planned it all out.  he can predict the outcome of his actions.  i honestly think that not everyone could understand that movie the way i do.  to me its not just some guy giving 5 lucky kids a tour through his factory.  ...nevermind.

i was reading something and pete said one of his favorite story book characters was willy wonka.  before i ever read that, i thought willy wonka and pete were very similar.  i really do think pete likes him because they are a lot alike... if you know what i mean. (are you hip to the jive? can you dig what im layin down? i knew that you could. slide me some skin, soul brother) (gotta see it)
veruca and violet- the fans they never asked for. (in the end, got what they deserved)
charlie- pat. (he understands willy and finishes his sentences perfectly, rather than question him)

enough of my own meaningful words filling your incomprehensive head.
