It would have been such a good day......
I went to this totally awesome huge ass concert today! Fuck I had such
a good time….I LOVE SAN FRANCISCO! It was held in the beautiful Golden
Gate Park it was such a beautiful day and to top it off, it was FREE!
The event was called Power to the Peaceful, there was a shitload of
bands, awesome speakers and more than 20,000 people. Michael Franti
with his band Spearhead were there….it was incredible! It was just so
awesome dancing around so free in the grass without caring what anybody
thought and just rockin out with thousands of people! I so wish you all
could have been there to experience it….or at least I wish I still had
my camera to show you all pics. Damn I love live music…..uhhh I was so
diggin it!
Well it would have been a good day if my roommate and I didn’t just get into a car accident. It was pretty bad, but no one is hurt. We were leaving target and were approaching a stoplight, when without looking my roommate switches lanes and hits an oncoming car. It was a brand new 2005 special addition Honda Civic. Their door was totally dented in and there was a huge scratch all along their car. I feel so bad right now, because I know that it is going to coast a lot. My roommate said it would probably be close to 10 grand. It really sucks because we are all so broke and he still hasn’t really been able to replace his things that got robbed.
I’m just so down right now…..thinking about this and I’m here watching the MTV concert raising money for the hurricane. It sucks so much. I mean we think we have it bad, but there really are people out there who have it so much worse….as cliché as that sound. I just ask that we all do what we can to help each other. No matter what it is, we can all do something….even if its just a prayer….and I probably shouldn’t have said just a prayer, because I really do believe in the power of it….Alright I’m out now…..peace yall….
