rambo show, just now: AWESOME. amazing to get your ass kicked by, and also to kick the asses of 200 awesome punx. bummer when you aren't punk enough because you have less than 5 patches and you don't own a bullet belt. i don't have a trust fund though, so fuck you. this elitist fashionpunk nonsense is bullshit, i shouldn't have to wear skin tight black jeans to be accepted into the punk scene, the one scene in this fucked up world that i feel like i actually do belong. well, on principle, sometimes. still, SUCH A FUN SHOW.
anyways, good fuckin week, (two weeks even), its been warm, last night i found an amazing lake surrounded by hills and sat by it for a pretty long time.
got some work on GAr! done today, emailed a few bands. hopefully we'll have a really nice mix of punk rock, hardcore, metal, hip hop, and indie rock. i definitely had a nightmare about it last night where there were really really terrible bands and no one showed up and it was an awful time and no one had fun. pretty much the opposite of how i want it to be.
hung out at kelly's which was pretty awesome. reminded me of last summer. basically a really relaxing day. nice to have 2 days off and just slack off, finally.
i'm not keeping up with friends i should be keeping up with. i've been really busy lately, what with the bros visiting and working all the time at 630 in the morning. i guess this is my lame internet way of saying i'm sorry i haven't called or returned your calls.
i want my mind to stay off of being lonely, and wanting companions for late night rides for a while, but i don't think that's gonna happen. i think the more i try to not think about it, the more i do.
overall, spring brings out the posi in me. which makes me pretty stoked.
