I can assure you that you are not the only person who has got it into their head to directly face the ants, though the intent of others in the past has not been so altruistic. That being said, I cannot stand by and watch with a clear conscience as you or anyone else broadcast your intentions to perform dangerous acts that will potentially endanger not only your life but the lives of others.

I understand that you want to help the ants and you do not want to see them suffer. I want to help the people of the Sphere, that includes yourself. I am a soldier. I was a soldier in my life before I came to this place. What my motivations were in the past, I cannot say, but here and now, my aim is to protect the people, and I will use whatever means available to me to achieve that end. I know that you are new and have no seen the havoc that these creatures are capable of. The best approach is to avoid contact and let them be. I implore you to let nature take its course and keep yourself safe.

I am asking you, politely, to not go near the ants. This is the last time I will do so.
