Does Christmas really come earlier every year?

That's what I keep asking myself.

I started hearing Christmas music at work the day after Halloween when it used to start the day after Thanksgiving. At first, I was flabbergasted. It was still two months away.

This year, though, I think I needed it.

Christmas music will never fail to cheer me up and it definitely succeeded this year as well. After a tough first half of a semester and personal problems, it made me feel like everything would be okay.

The thought of listening to the classics, as well as new-found favorites, like Celtic Woman and Trans-Siberian Orchestra, has made this week so much better. I just can't wait for the Charlie Brown special or Rudolph or Frosty the Snowman to come on now.

real life: work, holiday: christmas
