surprised change of events
-match was cancelled today, but it was alright because i spent time with some of my new friends through tennis. it always surprises me how ignorant i am-i've avoided making relationships with these people for so long for whatever reasons. I am happy to say that this year i have really impressed myself. Not only have i made mends with people from the past but i have made friends with people i would have never expected. I am so thankful that i have gotten the chance to get to know some of these people, and more surprisingly enjoy the tennis season because of it (which has never been a happy time). Not just with the tennis season, but prior to that i have encountered people that i have grown to love and appreciate (ex:caity skeie, who i love) and people more recently like kelsey, janie, and hannah. I have also met my goal of not only meeting eye to eye with alex, but slowly gaining a friendship. Hopefully my new acquired amicable personality will proceed through the year.
-i finished a letter than took 3 weeks to write. Not only a burden lifted but a sense of a relief has been instilled in me...because of this new found freedom through only two pages of words I am reconsidering actually giving the letter to the person who it belongs to...
