At around 4:35ish in this video, John Melendez asks David Cook who his favorite bands/musical influences are. David mentions the usuals, Our Lady Peace, Big Wreck, 8Stops7 (another seriously obscure 90s rock band I loved) and then...he mentions The Nixons. Cue my heart STOPPING.

It shouldn't surprise me, since David is from the region where they got the most airplay in the mid-90s, but AKDJASDKLAJSDKLSJADKLSJDKLSJDLKASJDKSA. WHAT.

Now, there are a lot of you who weren't around on my flist last August, when I wrote this post, and those of you that were probably don't remember it very well, so go read it again and refresh your memories.
