Alive!!
Yes, I am still alive. Rumors of my death or internet abandonment have been greatly exaggerated.
lord_chain left on the 13th, but a few days before that my wireless connection started acting shady. It wouldn't load pages, wouldn't keep me connected to IM programs, nothing. Sometimes it would load a page, but it would take like an HOUR, literally. It was like I was on dial-up. I'm not sure if it's fixed entirely but it's been working steadily for about 16 or so hours, near as I can tell, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
So I move back to Florida on February 13th. I am SO EXCITED!!! But terrified when I look around my basement and realize that I have sooo much to pack and not much time to do it in. I literally get panic attacks when I think about it. But tomorrow I HAVE to get started on it, so wish me luck.
A few days after Jared got here, I finished this really incredible book, The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. I'm aware that I'm probably one of the last people in the world to read it, but I am SO GLAD I DID. It hit me right where I live. Touched me very deeply. Maybe it's because I know that Jared and I have the kind of love Henry and Clare have, or maybe it's something else. I can't put my finger on it. But I'm reading it for the second time right now and it's affecting me even more this time. If you haven't read it, but like love stories with a sort of sci-fi bent, pick it up. It's worth every penny you'll spend. And those of you who've read it...talk with me about it! Tell me your favorite scenes, characters, lines, whatever! I feel the need to communicate with people about this book, and nobody around me IRL has read it yet.
Does anybody have some Fall Out Boy they can upload for me? I don't have any of their full length, just singles. (Dance Dance, Sugar We're Going Down, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, This Ain't a Scene, It's An Arms Race) I've been wanting to get their catalog for a while but keep forgetting and I know a lot of you love them so I figured I would ask...and if you want something from my library, I can upload an HTML doc of my WinAmp library and you can pick and choose whatever you want :D :D
Alright, time to wrap this up. If I've missed anything vitally important, or if there's anything you want me to read, link me in the comments, plz? I think I'm all caught up with personal journals but I'm not %100 sure.
