Stepping out of character this weekend, I worked really hard. Friday I wrote my senior sem's term paper proposal and annotated bibliography and studied Chinese. Then on Saturday, although my Econ issue paper is due on the 21st, I don't plan to do anything even remotely related to school over fall break (16&17) so I did it this weekend. In one day. That's researching six books on a topic I know nothing about and writing the paper all from morning to night. Finished. I was so burnt out. I've never felt so drained. But I'm so happy to have finished it. Yay Elizabeth.
So today I wrote a film response, read 5 stories from my Writing class and wrote responses on all of them, proofreading my own story, read the required Murakami stories and responded to those on Blackboard. After dinner I'm going to the lab with Dandan to print out 18 copies of my story and then I'll be studying Chinese the rest of the night. Right now I'm just waiting on dinner. Because Xiaocen is on Fall break all week she is on a big cooking kick and makes me dinner every night. It's nice. Tonight is green bean 粥. Last night was red bean 粥 but I told her how much I like the simplicity of it so she makes it specially. I don't know what it is about food with such a consistency but I like it.
So this week I have three days of classes then two days off in which I will return home. First time in a long time! Home is a little depressing to think of but I guess it should be alright. I plan to finish TJC once and for all!

Anyway, back to productivity. I credit my work ethic to K-pop. It's all I've listened to all weekend. I've been into Chinese music too much lately and before that, Johnny's Entertainment. So all of this music like SG Wannabe, Fly to the Sky, Brown Eyes are those old favorites. I love love love rediscovering old favorites. It's familiar and new all at the same time.
now I go eat dinner. The smell of cooked rice is killing me. 好吃阿！
