I just got around to putting my
DeLorme mapping software to another good use. Below you will find links to four travel maps. All the routes were re-calculated automatically, so they might differ somewhat from the ones we actually used at the time.
I tried to put intermediate points whenever necessary to "force" using the right highways, but in some cases this just wasn't possible. Also, the short excursion into Mexico that we took had to be drawn "by hand" and not to scale, as the Atlas does not cover any roads south of the border.
In any regard, here are the maps:
I must admit, though, that I wasn't all that pleased with
DeLorme's Street Atlas. The interface is counterintuitive and awkward, while the driving directions are often not as clear as those on, say,
MapQuest.com. Still it did the job and the maps came out looking reasonably nice, so I should not complain too much.
