Now that we are past the mid-point of our journey, here's yet another update:
- July 20: A really hot day. Decided to give ourselves a break before the wedding. Visited Brigham Young's winter home. Went shopping at an outlet mall and had some Mongolian BBQ.
- July 21: Stopped by the St. George Mormon Temple. Upon arrival to Las Vegas, went to the County Clerk's office to apply for a Marriage License. Checked into the magnificent Venetian hotel, where we got a huge Piazza Suite with 2 baths, 3 TV's, and a Jacuzzi. Had dinner with our rabbi and his wife. Went to see "A New Day," Celine Dion's outstanding show.
- July 22: The day of our wedding. Got up early to get ready. Met our friends and relatives at the chapel and went through the formal ceremony. Had a little reception in our suite and then a dinner at the Top of the World.
- July 23: Had lunch with parents. Toured the new Wynn casino and had a Brazilian dinner at the Mirage. Saw Zumanity, an underwhelming combination of the incredible and the intolerably vulgar. Split into separate groups for post-wedding bachelor and bachelorette parties.
- July 24: Stopped by Paris casino and had an eventful lunch at Four Seasons. Looked around Mandalay Bay and then drove to San Diego following I.'s car.
- July 25: Another day of much needed rest. Got caught up with some bills and such. Visited S. and L. Spent the rest of the evening with janya and I. Did laundry.
- July 26: Picked a rental car from Enterprise and drove into Mexico. Spent much of the day in Rosarito, a small resort town. Had a fresh coconut on the beach. On the way back, stopped by Tijuana's bustling touristy district. Got home safely.
- July 27: Drove to San Francisco, stopping only in Solvang, a cute Danish village, and at an ostrich farm nearby. Had some good port with saw and D. late in the evening.
- July 28: Walked around Union Square, visiting a number of art galleries. Saw Beach Blanket Babylon, a unique local show. Went out for drinks and hookah smoking.
