There are two types of people, who work for non-for-profit organisations (very few are the ones in between). The first type are the 9 to 5 type. My mom's grandparents are from the southern parts of Russia. They moved to Moscow for career purposes and stayed there. However, they never came to like Moscow. I was brought up with the stories of cherry and apricot trees, almonds and hospitality. And of course, the warmth of relationships between people.

We are so different. I dislike honey with all my heart. When my Jewish brothers and sisters, rejoice for Rosh Hashana with apples and honey, I eat cakes. We are so different, but we are all beautiful. Jewish or Non-Jewish, atheists and religious, naive and cynical, with blue eyes or brown eyes.
