I have a mortgage. So it goes.

So it goes indeed. I know the same feeling, it's why I'm still at my job I hate.

Do you keep in touch with any of the rest of our old crew?

Oh yeah. Raanab and I talk all the time. Both he and Blue made it to my wedding back in 2009, and in about 15 minutes, I'm running an Exalted game they're both playing in.

I talk to Tei every once in a great while, but other than that and the occasional exchange with you, not really anyone else.

Cool. Yeah, sorry about your wedding, it was real close after ours, and we had literally no spare money to go anywhere. Hell, we haven't had spare money and time for a vacation since then either.

I haven't time for gaming much either. I miss it, and I miss you guys. Forgive me for being the jackass who gets too busy to keep in touch with his friends?

Yeah, that happens. Like I said, I'm barely doing anything with groups anymore. I just started the game I'm running now back in March and it's only every two weeks, so right now I'm more or less communicating with people that don't IM me first only about four hours out of every two weeks!

I'm not sure we're going to be able to go to one of Brian's best friend's wedding, and she was his best ...woman. At our wedding. Money and time and medical.

Yeah, my best man was my brother, so we made it to his wedding, but we didn't make it to the wedding of one of the other guys who stood up for me, my buddy from HS. Though I got the impression it was a quick thing, if not exactly elopement.
