I took some when I had my first round of the Killer Death Flu, and it actually made me vomit.

I, too, was still coughing afterwards.

I ended up not coughing through the night, which was pretty amazing considering I was still coughing before I went to bed, so I guess overall, it did work. I'm not taking it during the day though, yuck.

I agree, it's foul. But it's about the only thing I've tried that stops me from coughing all night.

They suggest on the bottle mixing it with honey (I think). I'm not sure how nasty that would be though. I just plug my nose and suck it back.

There's a one-year maternity leave coming up in a department I really enjoy working for, so I'm going to put my name in for that and see how that goes.

LOL - the first time I read this, I thought you meant you were applying to *take* a one-year maternity leave. I know every company has its own maternity leave policy, but having fixed slots that people have to apply for seemed a little strange. "Well, Johnston got picked to have a baby this year, so you'll have to wait until next year and try again."
