steady reality.
a trail of smoke lingers on stained walls.
faded image flashes.
falling back in darkness, knowing.
questions forgotten,
replaced by plastic ease.
eternal eyes
see infinity tumble.
before, just obscured by lapses in sight.
coincidences pop out. and it's vivid.
emptiness follows oblivion and this is what
we always forget.
we always forget being alone.
we always forget happiness,
until we wake up sad.
alas, darkness evaporates soon enough,
letting retrospect reveal.
murky visions clear
the minds vacancies.
we learn, question, and answer.
we identify the cycle, which is life.
sprouting. growing. damp. green.
quelling to cracked brown.
blown trivially
to the roots which gave existence.
