First Week of Classes
Today was a very very crazy day. Being the first day of the new semester, our office was so busy. Luckily there weren't any major problems, but it still wiped me out taking care of all the students I helped today. I have my first class tomorrow night, which I'm kind of nervous about. The professor has already emailed us the syllabus and parts of it don't make sense to me. Hopefully he will clarify it tomorrow.
Also tomorrow is the memorial service for Dr. Young. I still can't believe that he past away.....I'm still heartbroken about it. I spent five years of my life in the library and I even had a class with him. I don't know what our library is going to do without him as the director.
On a lighter note, my friend Amanda had her baby last Monday. She had another boy and didn't find out the sex until she delivered. It almost makes me want to do the same thing when Chris and I have our second child. We have decided that we will get pregnant by the end of this year. It seems that everyone I know is having a baby. Tammy is going to have twins, they are do anytime this month. Gaby is going to have her boy in March. So many babies...
Next weekend I get to go home to Illinois. Chris and Gary are even coming too! I will somehow have to squeeze seeing everyone in 3 days....I wish my visits weren't always so packed. I swear the next time I go home I won't tell anyone but my mother!
