I'm not used to this anymore.

It's a grey day. I held out hope that the sunshine I occasionally caught a glimpse of at work would be there when I got off, but that was definately wishful thinking.

Sans-sun, I then walked home.

After greeting the ever-tactful Sharlene, and our esteemed roomate, I was then drawn into a battle of wills with the bottle of scotch that perched on the counter, mocking me with it's stomach wrenching joy.

An hour later, I find myself the loser of said battle, and the consumption of said bottle underway.

Somewhere along the way this year, perhaps between the unbelieveable roomate chaos, sharlene and my own trials with terrible jobs, and the sum total result of inflation, I've slipped into a slump.

A slippery slump indeed.

Brighter days, however, loom nearer, inching steadily closer, all looming and such.

Loom on.
