Oh crap...
I need to get my butt to bed. Figured I'd post really quick though. Have very busy day tomorrow... need to go see horsies, go work out with Lindsay, go to Alan+Lisa wedding. Should be interesting.
Snowed all freaking day today, and it's fucking freezing. So, I went and put the babies blankies on them. Ariesa just wanted treats. Lol. Ziggy is sooo shiney because Jack has been spending all his time brushing him. Hehe. Mark was like, "Holy shit, he's clean!" Jack also did their feet for me, which is awesome. It's nice having someone in love with my horse who also happens to be a farrier. :) I will have to ask him what I owe him, though. I'm not going to let him do it for free, because I know he totally would. Oh, also got a note today that board is going pu at the barn next month. :p $60. It's totally worth it to stay there, and I understand because a lot of people have been moving their horses around, but it SUCKS. Ah well.
Not much else going.. have felt like crap for a few weeks now. My stomach has been VERY unhappy, and I haven't been able to sleep at night. :p Mark wants me to go to the doctor and at this point I might just have to to figure out what the hell is wrong with me, or if it's just mental shit. Or a little bit of both. The crap weather we've had certainly isn't helping. Gotta love lovely Michigan. heh.
Ah well... I will go take a nap for a few hours and then go see my babies and maybe ride real quick before going off for my torture.. I mean workout session with Lyndsay. I think we're doing legs this week which sucks. I will be sooooore tomorrow. IALHA nationals are next weekend. Trying to talk Mark into taking me to Fort Worth for the weekend. Hehehe... he's not biting so far. Ariesa's little brother is going to be there, though, and I wanna see him damnit! He's her only full sibling I haven't ever seen. :( Confiado and Donada are both SO gorgeous. Of course, Ducado (Gabi's mare Tasha's colt from this year) is also a dream. Too bad I don't have $22K lying around burning a hole in my pocket. Lol.
Tasha's half brother Dante (Conquistador XII) is the stallion I am IN LOVE WITH for Ariesa. (http://www.andalusiansdemythos.com/conquistador/) If they approve her for breeding and I get the money together and decide I want to breed her for sure, that is. He is an Indiano XVIII son, and I am beyond in love with that stallion. He looks almost like a black version of his daddy, and he's only 8 which means he is just hitting his prime. I love his topline and his chest, gorgeous neck and an awesome backend. Plus he has nice extension for an Andy (Like Max) and lateral movement to die for. He also looks like he's very straight moving, though I would of course want to see at least a video of him before I bred to him. NO WINGING!!!!
I can not believe how many winging stallions I've come across. :P blech. I'm so glad Ariesa has nice straight movement. :) I saw a trailer for the new Marie Antionette movie today.. lotsa pretty Andalusians, and one that was WINGING HORRIBLY.. I was like UGH... Gorgeous horse otherwise, but that yucky front end action just turns me off.
Anyway.. I need to get my ass in bed so that I'm not a zombie or a loon tomorrow. (I turn into a goofball when I'm over tired who acts drunk) Have a poker tournament on Saturday.. yay. Hopefully I don't lose my ass again, and Mark doesn't go out first again. I actually hope HE does well more than that *I* do well, because he gets way more upset than I do about losing and I feel so bad for him when he gets upset and angry with himself. Plus it ruins my focus on the game because I spend my time worrying about him. :P
