HOME SWEET HOME
At 4pm today March 29, 2006 Joe & I {and Dane too} are closing on a house!
*looks around anxiously*
It is in Decatur, IL built in 1918. 1100 square feet on the main level, with 2 bedrooms on the main level, and a 900 square foot second level dormer attic that needs to be dry walled and carpeted to make a third bedroom. It is one bath, with a living room, complete with fireplace {the old fashioned pretty kind LOL}, a dining room with a floor to ceiling window, and a kitchen, plus a partially screened in porch/sunroon/Florida room. The front porch wraps around 1/2 of the house :) and there is a 2 car attached garage and a 1 1/2 detached garage in back. It is on a corner lot with driveway access from two sides and is partially neatly landscaped {needs TLC}. There is also a full basement that is dry and painted but not finished for living space, just the utility room.
It is all happening so fast I am a little frazzled.
Moving again.........Yikes! LOL I still have not unpacked all the boxes from the last move.or the move before that, or the move before that! LOL
I moved January 2004, then again in March 2004, then again in October 2004, and finished in November 2004. *crossing eyes and smacking head*&
Oh, well this will be good. A home of our own. Room enough for everything to come out of the rented storage unit.
